The bottom line
Naked 100 is easily one of the most popular e-juice brands, and it’s not for no reason. The flavors, how they vape, and their effect on coils make Naked 100 a top choice to put in your pod vape.
The five flavors I covered in this review are just the ones I used for testing, but I also use Naked 100’s Peach, Hawaiian Pog, and Lava Flow nic salts on a semi-regular basis. Those are also good flavors, and they remain some of my favorite e-juice flavors of all time. I recommend giving those a try as well!

Product Overview
There are few e-juice brands that are as popular as Naked 100. I’ve personally always been a fan of their e-juices, both freebase and nic salts. They’re just really flavorful, easy on coils, and widely available for purchase.
I’ve been using Naked 100 for a while, so I thought it would be a good idea to put out a formal review on what is likely their most popular type of e-juice: their nic salts.
In this review, I’ll be going over five of Naked 100’s nicotine salt e-juices: Mango, Banana, Euro Gold, Cuban, and Melon Kiwi. I’ll share my thoughts on what they taste like, let you know how my coils held up, and give you the bottom line on whether these e-juices are still as good as they used to be.
About Naked 100
Naked 100 is an e-juice brand that likely doesn’t need an introduction, but I’ll give a brief overview anyway.
The company is based in Huntington Beach, California, and has been around since 2016. Even if you’re familiar with Naked 100 and their e-juices, what you might not know is that they originally started as a brand called The Schwartz, which produced yogurt-flavored ejuices!
In the nearly ten years the company has been in operation, it has released dozens of e-juices, including both freebase and nicotine salt options. Naked 100 produces mostly fruit flavors, but they also offer a menthol line and a tobacco line of flavors.
Naked 100 Nicotine Salts: What to Expect

There’s a wide range of flavors available in Naked 100’s nic salt lineup. There are eighteen flavors available in total, with fruit, tobacco, menthol, and mint options.
All of these nic salts are a 50 VG and 50 PG mix, so they should wick without an issue in the vast majority of pods. Some pods could possibly see some leaking due to how thin these ejuices are, but most modern-day pods shouldn’t have an issue.
Naked 100 salts are available in a wide range of nicotine levels: 3mg, 12mg, 20mg, 35mg, and 50mg. They’re only available in 30ml bottles.
As a side note, the e-juices I received range from 3mg to 20mg, and the same flavors may not be available in your country. Similar flavors in different nicotine strengths are available on EightVape for U.S. customers.
Since these are nicotine salt e-juices, it’s recommended to vape them in a low-powered device, such as a pod vape, and with a high-resistance coil. High-powered devices like vape mods with a sub-ohm tank, or even pod mods, typically use lower-resistance coils and will give you a puff that’s much too strong to be enjoyable.
I recommend using these e-juices with a coil that has a resistance of at least 0.6Ω or higher, and with wattages of 30W or lower.
As I mentioned earlier, these e-juices should be pretty easy to find as they’re widely available at most brick-and-mortar and online vape stores. These e-juices were sent to me by Eightvape for this review, so check them out for your purchase.
How do they taste?

I’m going to describe how five Naked 100 salt flavors taste to me and what I think of them. However, keep in mind that just because I like a flavor does not mean that you will like it. Similarly, if I don’t like a flavor, this does not mean that you will not like it. This is solely my subjective opinion.
The flavors I’ll be reviewing are:
- Mango (20mg)
- Banana (20mg)
- Melon Kiwi (20mg)
- Cuban (12mg)
- Euro Gold (3mg)
For clarity, I tested these e-juices with the new VAPORESSO XROS 5 and XROS 5 MINI. These are some of the best and most flavorful pods that I’ve used, so I thought they would be the perfect pick to get the most out of Naked 100’s salts.
Mango

This flavor is plainly named as “Mango”, but there’s a bit more going on here. This is actually a blend of mango, peach, and cream, which gives it a unique flavor compared to other pure mango e-juices. Mango is the leading and most prominent flavor, but I could tell there was more going on before I even read the flavor description.
The peach and cream flavors are hard to put your finger on unless you know they’re there, but once you do, it all makes sense.
This isn’t as sweet a flavor as I imagined it would be. It’s actually pretty tame compared to other mango and fruit e-juices, which is nice if you don’t like a sugar dump in your mouth every time you vape.
The mango flavor leads the flavor profile, followed by light notes of peaches and even lighter notes of cream. All together, these flavors come together to make a good-tasting vape, albeit one that is less sweet than some might like.
Banana

Like Mango, this is no ordinary Banana flavor. It features a rich, sweet cream flavor that combines with a sweet banana flavor for a vape that is, well, sweet. The banana flavor is sharp, but the cream smooths it out a little. It’s very bold and sweet, with an almost prickly flavor due to how strong the banana flavor presents itself.
While not the sweetest flavor that I’ve tried, it’s definitely on the sweeter end. Because of the way the cream flavor mixes in, it’s hard to categorize the banana flavor as natural or candied, but I think it’s leaning more towards the artificial and candied side of things. It tastes a bit like banana candy, but just barely.
I’m not totally sold on this one, but vapers who enjoy sweet flavors and who like banana candy might find this to their liking.
Cuban

Hurray for tobacco flavors! This is a cigar tobacco, so it’s very bold and strong with a nice throat hit to boot, even from the relatively low 12mg ejuice that I’m using. There’s a very light touch of sweetness, but it’s mainly a dense tobacco flavor. It very much reminds me of a cigar, so it’s doing what it set out to do.
I’ve been puffing away on this flavor, and I have to say, it’s a relaxing experience. Something about a cigar flavor really sets the mood for just chilling out and enjoying the moment. It’s quite dense, so it’s not going to be for everyone, especially if you don’t like tobacco flavors. But for those who used to smoke cigars (or still do, I’m not judging), this flavor is a good alternative to the real deal.
Melon Kiwi

Melon Kiwi sits somewhere between Banana and Mango in sweetness. It’s a mix of honeydew melon and kiwi, along with Granny Smith apple. I mostly taste the honeydew, but I can feel the tartness of the kiwi and Granny Smith apple.
This flavor is “sharp” due to the tartness, and makes me cough if I take too big of a draw. It also burns my nostrils a bit. However, all of this doesn’t take away from the fact that it’s a delicious flavor.
Honeydew is the most stand-out flavor, so if you don’t like the fruit, you won’t like this e-juice. Kiwi and apple are background flavors, and I only really taste them on the exhale. The tartness of the flavors is noticeable, though, bringing a feel and throat hit that I don’t get from other pure melon e-juices.
Euro Gold

This flavor is supposed to mimic a light cigarette, and for the most part, I think it does the job. It still has a bit of a cigar taste, but nowhere near as strong as Cuban. The tobacco flavor is good, though, and I can see this flavor being used by those trying to transition from smoking to vaping.
How do they vape?

Naked 100’s nic salts are good. It’s no wonder that they’re so popular with vapers. After using them for just about three weeks, though, I would be lying if I said they vape significantly better than any other nic salt e-juice.
With that said, they get the job done. The throat hit from all of the flavors that I tried was on point, even with the lower-strength 3mg and 12mg salts. They’re undeniably satisfying to vape on, and the good flavors made it easy to keep using them for a long period of time.
I think that’s where Naked 100’s e-juices differ–I didn’t get bored of them nearly as quickly as I thought I would, which makes them great as all-day vapes. In this case, they were roughly all-month vapes.
Although the way they vape isn’t significantly different from other good nic salt brands, their effect on coils seems to have a leg up. Even with these XROS 5 pods, which are meant to last for weeks, these e-juices have barely had an effect.
I even took apart one of the pods to check what the coil looked like. Apart from some light discoloration, there was nothing to write home about, and no ‘gunking up’ to see.
Verdict
Naked 100 is easily one of the most popular e-juice brands, and it’s not for no reason. The flavors, how they vape, and their effect on coils make Naked 100 a top choice to put in your pod vape.
The five flavors I covered in this review are just the ones I used for testing, but I also use Naked 100’s Peach, Hawaiian Pog, and Lava Flow nic salts on a semi-regular basis. Those are also good flavors, and they remain some of my favorite e-juice flavors of all time. I recommend giving those a try as well!
