The bottom line
I really enjoyed testing these devices out. The draw from the Beast Mode 8K is a great mix of warmness, flavor, and vapor density. If I didn’t know any better I would be convinced that these had a higher nicotine level because they pack a nice punch for being a 20mg/ml disposable.
I appreciate the flavor lineup consisting of 30 different options. That’s a lot more flavors than most disposables offer, so there’s bound to be something for anyone. From looking at their website, the options are great and there’s quite a bit of variety, along with some great fruit mixes. Unfortunately, the only thing that’s missing is a tobacco flavored option.
My only issue with the Beast Mode 8K is that with such a small screen, the ejuice indicator is very, very small. It is quite difficult to see at a glance and, considering the screen turns off after 3 seconds, it doesn’t give much time to read the information. If you are going to have a screen, it needs to be useful and informative.
As a whole, the Beast Mode 8K is a great option for someone looking for a decent puff count disposable that is also portable and packs a punch. Recommended.

Flavour Beast is one of the best selling vape brands across Canada. They have an extensive lineup of vaping devices including pod vapes, disposables and vape eliquids.
But although their products cover a wide variety of categories, it’s safe to say that their disposables are their most popular offering. Every time I walk in a vape shop, Flavour Beast is often one of the first brands that I see.
Today, I’m shining the light on their Beast Mode 8K disposables. These disposables come prefilled with 16ml of ejuice for up to 8,000 puffs per device.
The Beast Mode 8K has two output modes: standard mode and Beast Mode. It also features a small OLED screen that displays battery and eliquid levels. All-in-all, there are 30 different flavor options, guaranteeing that there’s something for every vaper.
I’ve had 5 flavors in my rotation while testing these out and they have been put through the ringer and used extensively. Keep reading to learn everything about the Beast Mode 8K, as well as if it’s worth adding to your roster.

Design & Build Quality
The Beast Mode 8K disposables are very clean and simple. I’d consider them to be on the smaller size when it comes to disposables. They are only 98mm tall, 46mm wide and 24.5mm deep. They are super portable and compact allowing you to take multiples on-the-go at the same time.
As we all know, the days of low-puff count devices are mostly behind us, with larger devices containing more ejuice, and thus a higher puff count, taking their place. However, more ejuice and a higher puff count usually leads to the devices being large and bulky. That’s not the case with the Beast Mode 8K and it’s the perfect balance of portability and puffs.
The design of the Beast Mode 8K is very durable, considering it is made with all plastic. The outer edges are coated with a soft touch finish which makes it very comfortable to hold in the hand. The curved panel that covers the front, side and back of the device comes with deep horizontal ridges that give the device extra grip.
This may be one of the most muted devices when it comes to logos and branding – 95% of the device is black. There are two logos, one being a larger “Beast Mode” logo in a graffiti style font, located just above the display screen.

On the back panel, in the top left corner, you will find a small circular “Flavour Beast” logo printed in a color that corresponds to the flavor. This offers the smallest pop of color to the otherwise all black device. The same color is used on the flavor of the device, which can be found on the side of the device.
The display screen is located on the front panel, just below the large Beast Mode logo. It’s a small black and white OLED display screen that displays battery percentage, as well as a water droplet symbol that lights up to let you know where your ejuice level is at.
Like the sides of the device, the mouthpiece is also covered in the soft-touch coating that makes it very comfortable to use. The bottom of the device is where you can find the Type-C charging port, as well as the mode/airflow adjuster.
There are only two output modes, ON or Beast Mode, and the airflow adjustment is tied to the mode selection. This adjustment switch is firm and stays in place when set. It also provides a satisfying and audible click when adjusted.
Overall, the Beast Mode 8K has a simple and clean design with nothing too wild going on. While it may not offer 20,000 puffs plus, the Beast Mode 8K is a nice balance of portability and puff count.
Features

The Beast Mode 8K is a fairly simple device that comes with just a couple features. Not every device has to be complicated and feature-filled as some users will prefer a simpler, more user-friendly device.
Each Beast Mode 8K offers up to 8,000 puffs from 16ml of nicotine salt ejuice. Since Health Canada regulations require disposables to be no higher than 20ml/mg nicotine content, this device is only available in 20ml/mg nicotine strength.
The dual output modes are the main feature of the Beast Mode 8K. The two modes are Standard and Beast Mode. As I mentioned earlier, the airflow control is tied to the mode selection, so each mode delivers a different draw.

In standard mode, a 1.2ohm single mesh coil is used and the device provides a tight draw. In Beast Mode, 0.6ohm dual mesh coils are used instead and the draw is looser but more punchy. There is a noticeable difference between each mode and personally, I preferred to use Beast Mode most of the time.
The second and final feature of the Beast Mode 8K is the small rectangular OLED display screen on the front of the device. The screen displays a battery percentage reading, as well as a water droplet icon that represents the eliquid level. This water droplet will become less full as the ejuice gets used up.
The display is on the smaller side, but I had no issue reading the battery level quickly. However, the ejuice icon is a little difficult to see at-a-glance because it’s very small. You also have to be pretty quick to read it because the screen turns off in just 3 seconds (yes, I timed it). Is it too much to ask for me to be able to read the information that you provide me?
Battery Life & Charging

Judging from the size of the Beast Mode 8K, I was expecting the battery capacity to be anywhere from 600-800mAh. I was correct, but still a little disappointed to see that it falls on the smaller side of this range with its 600mAh battery.
But don’t let the battery capacity fool you; these little guys last forever. Not actually forever, but they last a long time. I guess having a smaller screen doesn’t deplete the battery like big flashy screens do, so that definitely helps. The coils also seem to be pretty efficient. In all, I averaged 2-3 days of use before needing to recharge.
I have been using all five of the flavours I received and have managed to recharge at least one of them twice. Near the end of the second charge is where the ejuice droplet dropped from full for the first time.
You can expect to have about an hour of down time when charging the Flavour Beast as they don’t support pass-thru charging when plugged in.
Flavors

When it came time to select how many flavors and what kind of flavors they were going to make, Flavour Beast went “BEASTMODE”. Every flavor looks delicious, except maybe Extreme Mint Iced; I am not a fan of minty things and it’s December, brrr! All jokes aside though, there are 30 flavor options, with a little something for everyone.
For this review I was sent five flavors to try. These flavors are Blazin’ Banana Blackberry, Bomb Blue Razz, Grapplin’ Grape Sour Apple, Mega Mixed Berries, Wicked White Peach.
For this section of this review, I’m going to describe how these five flavors taste to me and what I think of them. However, keep in mind that just because I like a flavor that does not mean that you will like it. Similarly, if I don’t like a flavor this does not mean that you will not like it. This is solely my subjective opinion.
Blazin’ Banana Blackberry
The banana is gunning for the main role here, pushing the blackberry backstage. The blackberry complements the banana and even mutes it a little though. While this is a little on the sweeter side, this flavor is very unique and a great mix in my opinion.
Bomb Blue Razz
Any Blue Razz is always a safe bet. It’s really hard to find a bad Blue Razz flavor. The Beast Mode 8K Bomb Blue Razz is definitely up there amongst the best. Tastes very natural, not too sweetened and is a great all day flavor that never gets old.
Grapplin’ Grape Sour Apple
How can you go wrong with grapes and apples? The granny smith apple flavor here is delicious and gives the whole flavor a subtle sourness that is rounded out perfectly with the grape notes. There is slight cooling to this flavor as well that I was not expecting due to the lack of ‘Ice’ in the flavor name.
Mega Mixed Berries
All of the fruit flavors in Mega Mixed Berries complement each other perfectly. Just another day at the berry farm! This flavor is very natural with just a little bit of sweetness added. I taste blueberries, blackberries, and raspberries, so it’s a little tart but just right. This is another great all day vape.
Wicked White Peach
Another winner in my books. The peach flavor is so light but sweet, it’s done just right. I do taste a trace of spearmint in here too, which I actually welcome as a non-mint lover. It adds another dimension to the flavor and makes it a bit more interesting to vape on.
How do they vape?

Considering the Beast Mode 8K is only available in 20mg/ml, the draw is fairly dense and feels stronger than I would expect for the nicotine strength.
I have no problems using a 50mg/ml vape, so sometimes a 20mg/ml option does not feel strong enough. That’s not the case with these disposables. I would attribute this extra satisfaction to the Beast Mode output, which uses the dual mesh coils to deliver a more powerful, warm, and dense draw.
For those who are not looking for such a dense draw, the standard mode delivers an excellent draw that is a little tighter. This mode feels more like what I expect from a 20mg/ml disposable and still packs plenty of flavor and warmth.
As mentioned previously, switching between the two modes also changes the airflow. In standard mode you can expect a tighter MTL draw, while in Beast Mode you will get a looser MTL draw. Both airflow modes are still firmly mouth-to-lung draws.
The flavor is amazing in both modes and does not get muted at all. Beast Mode just feels a bit stronger and has more depth to the flavor thanks to the dual mesh coils working together.
Verdict
I really enjoyed testing these devices out. The draw from the Beast Mode 8K is a great mix of warmness, flavor, and vapor density. If I didn’t know any better I would be convinced that these had a higher nicotine level because they pack a nice punch for being a 20mg/ml disposable.
