The bottom line
Hot on the heels of the DOJO iMate X 20K, the PIXEL 25000 is a vastly different device but still a top performer.
It’s a little simpler than the iMate X 20K and generally a simple disposable overall. It’s ideal for beginner vapers and vapers who want a device that offers some level of adjustability without being overly complicated but still offers plenty of puffs, good flavors, and a satisfying vape.
DOJO did a good job of adding an entertaining element to the PIXEL 25000 without making it a “game.” The gravity sensor and tilt control modes work really well. When boredom strikes, the modes are fun to play around with to kill a minute or two, and they perfectly match the PIXEL 25000’s fun style.
I have a few very minor complaints, but nothing that would stop me from recommending this device as a good mid-puff count beginner device. The fast scrolling icons for the ejuice and battery would be better as physical icons next to the screen to make it more clear which screen is for which readout. A larger battery would also be welcomed.
Still, the PIXEL 25000 is a solid disposable, and even if you don’t plan on using the tilt modes, the flavors and performance are worth giving it a try.
Product Overview
The PIXEL 25000 is a new disposable vape by DOJO. It’s the world’s first disposable vape equipped with a gravity sensor and dual-pixel screens.
Shake the device and tilt it to see pixels flow from one screen to the other, or shake it again to control an emoji that moves between the two displays. This mix of a gravity sensor and old-school pixel screens gives the PIXEL 25000 a unique retro-futuristic style that is vastly different from other disposables.
In addition to these key features, the PIXEL 25000 offers up to 25000 puffs and packs an 800mAh battery that is rechargeable with Type-C charging. There are two modes, ECO and POWER, as well as a two-mode adjustable airflow slider that works in sync with the mode adjustment.
I just finished reviewing the DOJO iMate X 20K, and not long before that, I reviewed the DOJO Sphere X disposables. So far, DOJO’s devices have impressed me with their innovativeness and performance, but will the PIXEL 25000 do the same? You’ll find out in this review.

Design & Build Quality
Like the DOJO iMate X 20K, the PIXEL 25000 looks slightly different from other disposables. The first thing you’ll notice is the two bubble displays on the front of each device. Each display is about 1.7 inches in size and sticks out a few millimeters from the face of the device.
This dual-display setup is one of the main features of the PIXEL 25000. It displays mode, ejuice, and battery life info using large pixels on a nine-by-seven grid. It also has two interactive modes that, thanks to a gravity sensor inside the device, allow you to control the pixels by tilting the device, but more on this later.
Each PIXEL 25000 is 93.4mm tall, 50mm wide, and 27.5mm thick. That’s a nice size for a disposable vape and about average size for one that offers 25000 puffs. The 88g weight is not bad either and gives it a solid feel in the hand without being too heavy.
All of the flavors come in a two-tone color scheme of vibrant pastel colors. This makes the PIXEL 25000 stand out a little, but the vibrant colors perfectly match the device’s fun and interactive nature.

The entire device is made of plastic but generally feels solid and well-built. There’s slight flexing of the display bubbles when pressed, but not enough to be concerning. The mouthpiece is slightly flexible and finished with a soft rubber coating.
The side of each device has a large DOJO logo, and “powered by VAPORESSO”. The back of each device has a PIXEL logo near the top and the flavor printed near the bottom.
The bottom of the PIXEL 25000 has a Type-C charging port and the mode/airflow adjustment switch. There are three modes: OFF, ECO, and POWER.
The airflow adjustment is tied to the mode adjustment, meaning you can’t adjust one without adjusting the other. In ECO mode, the PIXEL 25000 delivers a smoother, less intense mouth-to-lung draw. In POWER mode, it’s a more powerful and intense but slightly looser mouth-to-lung draw.
How to use the PIXEL 25000
The PIXEL 25000 has only a single user-adjustable feature: a mode/airflow control switch, which is located on the bottom of the device.
Setting the switch to ECO mode turns on the PIXEL 25000 and illuminates the screen with an arrow on the top display, which points down towards the lower display, and a mode readout on the bottom display (in this case ECO). The same thing happens when switching to POWER mode, but the arrow is on the bottom pointing up, and the mode readout is on the upper display.
The mode readout is followed by an ejuice level readout on the top display and a battery life readout on the bottom display.
The ejuice and battery readouts are preceded by an icon: a droplet icon on the top display before the ejuice level, and a lightning bolt icon on the bottom display before the battery level.
Now, these readouts are great, but how they’re presented is less than ideal. The icons scroll by quite quickly, leaving only numbers being displayed, and this makes it challenging to know which screen is displaying the ejuice level and which is displaying the battery life. Too many times, I found myself looking at the numbers and wondering which one was which.
Having little physical icons next to the displays, like a droplet icon next to the top display and a lightning bolt icon next to the lower display, would have made the readouts much more user-friendly. But as it stands, you’ll just have to remind yourself that the top display is for ejuice and the bottom display is for battery life.
Gravity Sensor & Interactive Modes
The nine-by-seven-pixel grid displays offer more than just a retro look. In fact, the PIXEL 25000 has two interactive modes that can be activated just by shaking the device.
At first, I thought that you had to shake it pretty hard to get it to activate, but it turns out I just didn’t have the magic touch. Here’s what you do: Hold the PIXEL 25000 with your thumb on one side and fingers on the other. Then, shake/wiggle it side to side to activate the modes. This is the easiest way to do it, and much less intensive than vigorously waving your arm back and forth like I was doing.
The first interactive mode is an hourglass mode, in which pixels flow from one screen to the other. The second mode is an emoji face, which can travel between the two displays.
Thanks to the gravity sensor, you can tilt the PIXEL 25000 to control how the pixels fall in the hourglass mode or control the emoji. While I wouldn’t go so far as to call these games, they’re a good time killer when you’re a bit bored or just trying to relax.
Flavors

At launch, the PIXEL 25000 offers fifteen flavors:
- Blue Razz Ice
- Blue Star
- Grape Mojo
- Hawaii Dream
- Miami Mint
- Peachy Smash
- Pink Lemonade
- Sour Apple B-Pop
- Sour Cranapple
- Sour Gush
- Sour Strawberry
- Strawberry Slam Dunk
- Tropical Bomb
- Watermelon Ice
- Wintergreen Mint
Many of these flavors, like Hawaii Dream, Miami Mint, & Pink Lemonade, are shared with the DOJO iMate X 20K, which I reviewed not too long ago. But some flavors are new to the PIXEL, like Blue Star, Grape Mojo, Tropical Bomb, and Wintergreen Mint.
I’m going to describe how three of these flavors taste to me and what I think of them. However, keep in mind that just because I like a flavor, that does not mean that you will like it. Similarly, if I don’t like a flavor, this does not mean that you will not like it. This is solely my subjective opinion.
Hawaii Dream
This flavor is a medley of mango, orange, pineapple, and honeydew. The tropical fruit flavors are blended together, so it’s hard to pick them out individually, but as a whole, this flavor has an excellent taste. If you like any of the above fruits, I would highly suggest trying this flavor.
Pink Lemonade
The lemonade flavor is done incredibly well here. The lemon taste is great, and the fruity strawberry flavor complements it nicely. It’s a light and refreshing vape with a bit of lemonade tang–perfect for summer!
Sour Strawberry
The name of this flavor says it all. The sour notes are done so well that I almost pucker up when vaping this, although it’s not quite to the point of screwing up my face. I like the tartness a lot, especially because it’s paired with a sweet strawberry flavor. It’s very candy-like, but not too sweet.
How long do they last?

Compared to another one of DOJO’s recent disposables, the iMate X 20K, the PIXEL 25000 has a much smaller battery–an 800mAh cell compared with the 1300mAh total capacity of the iMate X 20K.
Since these are only available in 50mg/ml nicotine strength, they’re a bit strong for me in POWER mode, and I’ve been using them mainly in ECO mode. I’ve been averaging 1-2 days of use per charge, and I estimate that most vapers, even those who vape heavily, will be able to get at least a day of use per charge.
When plugged in, the PIXEL 25000 first displays the charging percentage on the lower screen. After a minute or so, the display switches to a single row of pixels that gets taller as it charges. To view the percentage again, you have to take a draw or switch modes.
I timed a charge at 49 minutes. The PIXEL 25000 has pass-through charging, so it can be used while plugged in.
How do they vape?

These disposables are “powered by VAPORESSO,” but what exactly does that mean? One element that VAPORESSO is definitely powering is the coil and wick assembly.
The DOJO PIXEL 25000 uses the same COREX 2.0 heating technology as some of VAPORESSO’s pod devices. This is a mesh coil that has been fine-tuned for faster heating and consistent flavor, paired with upgraded cotton to effectively wick ejuice, prevent burning, and last longer.
But let’s forget the technical specs and focus on my actual experience. While it’s hard for me to say definitively that the COREX 2.0 tech is what makes the PIXEL 25000 so great, it stands to reason that it’s part of the equation. Flavor is awesome, the vapor is smooth and full, and each puff tastes the same as the last.
ECO is a smoother draw that is not too intense, but still satisfying to vape on for someone like myself who likes to vape disposables around the 30mg/ml range. POWER mode is a noticeably stronger draw and more intense too, with fuller and warmer vapor. It’s also a bit warmer.
The airflow between the two modes isn’t much different, but POWER mode delivers a slightly looser mouth-to-lung draw. The extra warmth of the vapor makes it needed, otherwise it would probably be too hot.
